DealGate provides data intelligence tools and APIs, including:

  • Email validation and verification
  • Email address discovery
  • Address parsing and geocoding
  • AI-generated content detection
  • Other data processing tools

We offer both free demo tools (with usage limits) and API access for programmatic use.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes. You may NOT use DealGate to:

  • Send spam: Do not use our email validation or discovery tools to build lists for unsolicited bulk email
  • Harass or harm: Do not use our services to facilitate harassment, stalking, or harm to individuals
  • Circumvent security: Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or other security measures
  • Resell without permission: Do not resell our services or build competing services using our API without written consent
  • Violate laws: Do not use our services in violation of any applicable laws, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other data protection regulations

3. Rate Limits and Fair Use

Our free demo tools have usage limits to ensure availability for all users:

  • Demo tools are limited to small batches (typically 5-10 items per request)
  • Excessive automated requests may result in temporary blocking

API access includes rate limits as specified in your API plan. If you need higher limits, contact us to discuss options.

4. API Terms

If you use our API:

  • Authentication: Keep your API credentials secure and do not share them
  • Attribution: You may use our API in your applications without attribution, unless otherwise specified
  • Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of our API complies with applicable laws
  • Modifications: We may modify, suspend, or discontinue API features with reasonable notice

5. Accuracy and Disclaimers

No guarantee of accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Results may include errors or inaccuracies.

  • Email validation may report "unknown" for addresses we cannot definitively verify
  • Address parsing depends on input quality and may not correctly parse all formats
  • AI detection provides probability scores, not definitive conclusions

You should not rely solely on our services for critical decisions without additional verification.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Our content: The DealGate website, documentation, and tools are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
  • Your data: You retain all rights to the data you submit to our services. We claim no ownership over your input data or the results generated from it

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • DealGate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability for any claims arising from use of our Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $100 if you have not paid anything)
  • We are not liable for any loss of data, business interruption, or other damages resulting from use of our services

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DealGate and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse of our services
  • At our sole discretion with or without notice

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and changing the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
