Understanding the Dashboard

After creating your account, the dashboard will be your central hub for all DealGate activities. This guide will help you understand the layout and key features available to you.

Dashboard Overview

The DealGate dashboard is designed to provide easy access to all platform features while displaying important metrics about your account usage. The interface is divided into several key areas:

Navigation Sidebar

The sidebar on the left contains links to all major sections of the platform:

  • Dashboard Home: Returns you to the main dashboard view
  • Lead Export: Access the lead generation and export features
  • LeadFollow: Monitor prospect interactions with your website
  • Lists: View and manage your exported contact lists
  • Account Settings: Manage your profile and subscription
  • Team Management: Add and manage team members (available on team plans)

You can collapse the sidebar using the toggle icon at the top to give your workspace more room.

Main Dashboard Sections

Lead Export Section

This is where you'll spend most of your time when searching for and exporting B2B leads. Key features include:

  1. Filter Panel: Set criteria for your target audience

    • Industry/SIC code selection
    • Revenue ranges
    • Employee count
    • Geographic targeting using the interactive map
    • AI-powered natural language search
  2. Export Usage Display: Shows your current export usage for the billing period

    • Total exports used
    • Exports remaining
    • Usage trend over time
  3. Results Preview: Shows a sample of the contacts matching your criteria

    • Preview of contact information (partially masked)
    • Company information
    • Export button to initiate the export process

LeadFollow Dashboard

The LeadFollow section helps you track when contacts visit your website:

  1. Installation Section: Contains your unique tracking script
  2. Visitor Activity Feed: Real-time display of website visitors
  3. Filtering Options: Filter visitors by various criteria
  4. Visit Details: In-depth information about each visit

Lists Section

After exporting contacts, they'll appear in the Lists section:
