How to Export Verified Leads
DealGate's Lead Export feature allows you to identify and export verified business leads that match your ideal customer profile. This guide will walk you through the entire process, from creating search parameters to exporting a targeted list of verified decision-makers.
Understanding Lead Export
The Lead Export tool allows you to:
- Find verified contacts at your target companies
- Filter by job title, seniority, industry, location, and more
- Verify email addresses and contact information
- Export ready-to-use lead lists for your outreach campaigns
Prerequisites
Before starting your first lead export, ensure you have:
- An active DealGate account with lead export credits
- A clear understanding of your ideal customer profile (ICP)
- A general sense of your target companies or industries
Step 1: Access the Lead Export Tool
- Log in to your DealGate dashboard
- Click on the Lead Export tab in the main navigation
- Select New Export in the top right corner
Step 2: Define Your Target Companies
You can specify target companies in several ways:
Option A: Search by Industry and Firmographics
- Select the Company Search tab
- Choose industry categories from the dropdown menu
- Add filters for:
- Company size (employee count)
- Annual revenue
- Location (country, state, or city)
- Founded date range
- Growth indicators
Option B: Upload a Target Account List
- Select the Upload List tab
- Download the template CSV file
- Fill in your target companies (company name required, domain optional)
- Upload your completed CSV file
- Review the match results
Option C: Competitor Customers
- Select the Competitor Intelligence tab
- Enter up to 5 competitor domains
- Adjust the "Likelihood of Customer" filter as needed
- Review the potential customer list
Step 3: Refine Your Contact Criteria
After defining target companies, specify the contacts you want:

Under Contact Filters, select from the following:
- Job titles or functions (multiple selections allowed)

- Years in role (minimum/maximum)

- Exclude contacts with unverified emails (recommended)
- Include only contacts with phone numbers

Step 4: Set Export Size and Prioritization
- Specify the number of leads to export (10-1000)
- Choose prioritization method:
- Company size (largest first)
- Seniority (most senior first)
- Recently appointed (newest in role first)
- Random (evenly distributed)
Step 5: Enable Email Verification
Email verification ensures you're getting valid, deliverable addresses:

Under Verification Options, select verification level:
- Basic (syntax and domain verification)
- Standard (mailbox existence check) - recommended
- Advanced (additional anti-spam verification)

Choose handling of unverified emails:
- Exclude unverified emails (recommended)
- Include with verification status noted
Step 6: Preview and Adjust
- Click Preview Results to see a sample of matching leads
- Review the preview to ensure it meets your expectations
- Adjust filters if needed to refine your results
- Note the estimated total matches and available credits

Step 8: Process the Export
- Click Process Export to begin
- The system will verify and compile your lead list
- Processing time varies based on:
- Export size
- Verification level selected
- Current system load

- Return to the Lead Export tab
- Find your export in the Completed Exports section
- Click Download to retrieve your file
