# The 15-minute warm lead routine

From DealGate (https://d-gate.io/blog/warm-leads). Free to copy and share.

Do it at the same time every working day, before you post or open the feed. Time splits are our rule of thumb.

## Minutes 0–7: waiting on you

- [ ] Open LinkedIn messaging and list every thread where they sent the last message.
- [ ] Reply to each one, oldest first. One idea per reply, one question at most.
- [ ] If a reply needs research, send a holding line ("Good question, I'll come back to you tomorrow with a proper answer") and note it.

## Minutes 7–12: warming up

- [ ] Find threads where they asked a question, gave timing, mentioned who decides or asked about price in the last week.
- [ ] Move each one stage forward: Open → Engage → Qualify → Invite.
- [ ] If the checkpoint for Invite is met (problem, timing, who decides), ask for the call.

## Minutes 12–15: gone cold

- [ ] Pick two threads where you sent last and it's been more than 7 days.
- [ ] Send each a new reason to reply, based on something they said. Never "just bumping this".
- [ ] Close one thread that's clearly not a fit, politely.

## End of day

- [ ] Update your inbox audit sheet: stage, flag, next move. (https://d-gate.io/downloads/linkedin-inbox-audit.csv)
